In this new build we were asked to install a fireplace and do the ensuite bathroom. All 12×12 tile was laid in the straight lay pattern. The fireplace, bathroom floor, and jacuzzi tub skirt, deck, and splash were set using VersaBond Mortar. The ensuite bathroom required us to install Schluter Kerdi Membrane using Premium Plus Mortar. Using this same mortar the shower tile was set with a waterfall mosaic feature. All areas of the house were grouted using a high performance, stain resistant Prism Grout.
